Melee Direct is the production-grade melee channel of Core Diamond Group — supplying CVD, HPHT, and natural calibrated melee to jewelers, setters, and manufacturers since 2003.
Direct from cutter to your bench
No middlemen. Our parcels move from our cutting partners in India and Israel straight into our NYC vault, where they are hand-sorted to mm tolerances before they ship. That means tighter calibration, faster turnaround, and pricing that reflects what the stones actually cost — not what a layered distribution chain marks them up to.
Calibration is the product
Every parcel is sorted by sieve to the published mm range and re-checked by hand under loupe. CAD-driven manufacturers need stones that drop into mounts without a setter re-cutting prongs — so our QC sign-off rejects anything outside ±0.02mm of the stated size. If a stone is out of spec, it doesn't ship.
Dual lab-grown supply chains
We carry both CVD and HPHT inventory in the same mm tolerances, so you can choose by price, by lead time, or by your client's preference without re-engineering your casting. Natural melee is sourced on request.
